About Me

The Dunbar Number
The Dunbar Number is a mix of punk, post punk, 90's alternative and a little 60's rock. Formed in the summer of 2007 by ex-Sleeping Nations singer / guitarist Russ Perkins, and drummer Nick Benson. Former Head of Lies bass player (and lifelong friend of Russ) Delvis joined in the summer of 2008. Finally, the lineup was completed in the summer of 2009 with the addition of guitarist Soren Appoldt. Influenced by the likes of Fugazi, Guided By Voices, The Clash and 60's garage rock bands, The Dunbar Number plays in their hometown of Portland Or. Their debut EP was released by Nice Monument Recordings on Dec. 11 2010
